Small local company is looking for an experienced designer to join our team.

Candidate must be proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign, have an understanding of magazine design, font management, 4 color printing, and have basic knowledge of web design.

Ideal person will be a self starter, quick learner, detail oriented, communicative, welcome feedback, and dependable. Candidate should be able to produce point of sale materials, magazine layouts, post cards, brochures, web graphics, etc. Will need to learn how to produce printed materials on our plotter (will train).

This position is part time with an excellent opportunity for full time employment as we are expanding.

Responsibilities:
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for implementing the Company’s digital marketing strategy and managing Crescent’s online marketing presence. This position will be tasked with leading a broad set of initiatives across all digital marketing mediums (including corporate websites, newsletters, email marketing campaigns, social media, banner advertising and ecommerce initiatives). This position requires experience in the technical and creative aspects of digital marketing, as well as strong copywriting skills.

Primary Duties:
•Work with Senior Marketing Management to develop a digital marketing plan in support of the overall corporate business and marketing objectives.
•Manage the digital component of integrated marketing campaigns.
•Maintain the Company’s website content including marketing copy, images and videos, product content, product reviews, organic search content, etc.
•Provide marketing support for Company’s ecommerce initiatives.
•Drive the development of creative assets and tools needed to effectively communicate to customers and other stake-holders.
•Develop and implement email marketing strategies including customer segmentation, prospect nurturing and customer re-activation.
•Devise strategies to drive online traffic to the Company’s corporate and ecommerce websites.

Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or equivalent work experience.
•Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a digital marketing role managing web content with a CMS tool. Related web, social media or advertising agency experience and/or internship applicable.
•Experience in preparing email campaigns including loading HTML mail into third party email providers, list management, opt-out management and email campaign results analytics.
•Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
•Experience with optimizing and maintaining social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Blogs, etc.)
•Knowledge and experience of SEO and SEM concepts including Google PageRank, Google Analytics, pay-per-click, use of meta descriptions, page titles, link management and keyword rich content.
•Excellent writing and grammatical skills with an understanding of writing for the Web and print media, with the ability to develop a unique voice for the Crescent Electric Brand.
